So, Dumb question. I just upgraded to K02 265/70r17s. My spare is still a 265/65r17 which is no good. Need a replacement, but thinking about getting a cheaper tire as my full size spare since it would only be used in emergencies. So, my question is, have any of you done this, and if so, what tires have you done this with?

I wouldn't. Different brands vary in size. My duratrac for instance runs bigger than a ko2.

And depending on use, being off road I want the exact same tire if something were to happen.

If you're going to buy a full size spare, I'd go with the same tire you're running.

    ...stuff
Find a 5th wheel of your rims, and grab one more tire. If something were to happen, you’ll still roll in style.

Style points are the only points that matter in the end.
