Spare U joints ?

    This sounds like an absolutely miserable process.

    I've never seen a U-joint fail on the trail but I've seen many axle shafts bite the dust from inexperienced recoveries.

    I never cease to be amazed by the things the inexperienced can break. Personally, for the type of four-wheeling I do (and was doing earlier today in fact) I deal with rocks. Lots of stupid rocks. My concern is wedging a tire in tight and blowing a CV joint. That said, the only time I carry a spare half-shaft and CV's is when I take my off-road car to Moab.

    To take a driveshaft out and put a new joint in isn’t a miserable process
