This is my 2015 Toyota Tacoma 2.7 L four-cylinder I had taken out my spark plugs in order to do a compression test. As I was putting back spark plug 1 in cylinder 1 i tightened it while it was at angle and I believe I stripped the inside. Because of this my coil pack did not end going in all of the way. I tried using a spark plug repair system, but as I was pulling out the drillbit, I noticed that in cylinder 1 the hole is significantly smaller than the other holes. It looks like there is a small metal cup inside. Does anyone know what this is? (The first picture is cylinder 1 and second pic is cylinder 2) 99C1421A-FFD5-43FC-A351-8E6E7A010F3A.jpg

It’s a total guess with out seeing the plug you removed.
But it almost looks like the ground electrode broke off?
Did you use the style plug with dual ground electrodes?

    That would suck.
I guess you could try to use an bolt extractor?
Tape it into to the socket and hope for the best?D6847946-A2E8-4380-926F-CA1D15ED759A.jpg

Thank you man, I checked my tool box and I was missing an adapter. And it looks like it’s stuck inside. I will use a bolt extractor. I will keep you guys updated.
