    Hello all

I've had my TRD supercharger installed on my truck since ~30k miles, I'm at 75kmiles now and decided to do the supercharger maintenance and spark plugs. I pulled the supercharger off and all the plugs I pulled looked like crap. What am I doing wrong here ? See pic for reference

All I have is the 1GR trd supercharger with an intake and the TRD re flash...

Any input is much appreciated !

I think (could be wrong) the maintenance schedule calls for plugs every 40k. I changed my non supercharged 4.0 at around 40 and they looked terrible too. When were they last changed?

Which spark plugs are you running? Supposed to run 2 step cooler plugs on a supercharged motor. The stock rated plugs wont last long and can cause spark knock under boost.

Looking at that chart and the photo of your plug, it looks like it may be carbon fouled from running too rich

That plug is a little sooty but i wouldn't say it's fouled. The supercharger reflash probably richens the mixture to keep things cool and reliable for daily driving. Remember, a slightly rich a/f ratio keeps combustion temps down and keeps pistons from melting. They are protecting the engine by staying on the rich side of things. I wouldn't worry about it..
