I have 120,000 on my DC 2008, have not changed spark plugs yet, is it pretty straight forward or should I have my mechanic friend do it.
Also, all I've done is oil changes and air filter, anything else I should have done?
    Thanks
    Barry

Yeah sparks seems pretty easy, just takes time and you need the gap tool.

There is a how to floating around.

You need to do more than just the plugs, trans oil, diff oil.... Etc. Consult the owners manual, YouTube and this site have how to posts.

man, that is a long time.

i'd go slow. i get nervous with sparkplugs that have been there for a long time. careful with the threads.

I'm as novice of a mechanic as they come and it was very easy, except for one plug on the driver side.

took 1.5 hours total, and i went very slow

It's easy. you'll need extensions on the socket to get in there deep, and whatever you do, don't start the thread with it on the ratchet! Turn just the socket on the extension by hand to get it started, that way no cross threading.

I used iridium style from NGK, a nice, but pricier option. No gap to set, Japanese engines love this plug.

I still check the gap and have had to adjust. Might be how they get knocked around in transit.
