I had the older model without upgraded ball joints and bushings. I called SPC and right now they're doing a deal where if you buy the updated UCAs from them and ship back the old it'll be about $200. You pay for the new UCAs up front (I think it was $625), then once they receive the old model they'll credit back your account $425. Pretty nice deal to get the brand new UCAs without piecemeal replacing the parts.

I just installed my SPC's and about 500 miles of driving they started to squeak, they have been torqued correctly on the ground and ball joints have been greased. When you guys installed yours did you grease the two bushings?

I did not grease the bushings at install for mine. No squeak a few thousand miles later for me.

Sorry to resurrect an old post, but my SPC UCAs have started to squeak as well. Did you ever find a solution for this? Is it an issue or just an annoyance?

So the problem with mine was the zerk fitting it wasn't letting grease go through on my left side took it off cleaned it and made sure it was working, and I grease them every 5,000 miles or 3 months. worst case you get a new zerk fitting or just switch sides and test.

Thanks for the update. I'll check out the zerk. I think the sound is coming from the bushings though.
