SPC and Warranty

So before Christmas had my baby in for an oil change, they discovered both my LR UCAs have play in the ball joint, drivers side is worse then passenger side. They requested serial numbers and pics of the ball joints.... but they're under a boot. Do they want people to cut the boot off to get a picture of it? I emailed the place i bought them from and sent them the info as best i could. Has anyone had a difficult time with them covering warranty? (SPC I mean)

The numbers are on the square washer they are very faint and hard to see , we had to take my tire off and use a flashlight to read them

 

no problem with warranty. they were quick to sent out replacement when the welds broke off on the driver arm.

 

I just had a great experience with their customer service

 

Okay cool, thanks for the heads up guys! Cochran Toyota is dealing with SPC on my behalf, i had no idea where the serial number was

 

On the passenger side UCA It should be on the rear facing facet of the square washer

Wow u weren't kidding, had you not pointed it out i would have taken it as an uneven/rough surface
