Mevotech stopped making the knockoff SPC's a while back, and when I reached out to them to see if I could get a set of bushings for their arms, they told me that they stopped making them. So no go.

Superpro makes a Helix UCA that uses a similar (SPC) ball joint but poly bushings that someone should try lol. It should fit our tacoma's as well.

Kinda figured on the Mevotech stuff because I didn’t see anything at all online.

Energy Suspension has a ton of “universal” bushings that they sell based on a handful of specs.

If I didn’t have to drive my truck everyday, I’d pull the UCAs and measure everything and try to find a crossover part.

Ive tried looking but I couldnt find anything. I am considering making my own poly bushings and or making delrin ones.

Poly ones dont look too bad to make. Well delrin doesnt either

    That was another thought.

Delrin can be machined rather easily and turning a set on a lathe wouldn’t be hard with the right tools

Im wondering if the ride will be any different with delrin. You wont get any deflection, both a good and a bad thing.

Also I have no idea what kind of tolerances SPC had when making the barrels. With poly it would be more forgiving on the Bushing OD

Are we talking UCAs or LCAs? It would be awesome to find an alternative to the spec-ride or x-axis UCA bushings.

I have a brand new x-axis bushing that I am willing to loan out, if someone wants to measure and go down the rabbit hole of finding an alternative bushing that fits the spc uca.

I think there are a few replacement bushings for the stock LCA already. Eg whiteline, superpro, etc

I think both of us are talking about uppers. Lowers are already well covered by the aftermarket. Post #3 of this thread I think has the dims that we need. I didnt find any stock bushings that would work.

Could you post a picture of those X axis? Do they have a steel outer shell?

    UCAs.

That was an autocorrect typo in my one post.

Thanks good to know. That just means spc must have a fairly tight tolerance on the barrel ID
