JBA HD's here. Can't say enough good things about them. I like that they still use a ball joint but they are beeeef. Much nicer to DD than an option with a uniball, but if you want Uniball then Total Chaos are tried and true.

Never liked SPC. Usually I get a bunch of hate for saying they suck. Glad others are starting to see that.

@JasonLee: Question, can you elaborate for me a bit. I have a some lift on my 1st Gen Taco and I am getting very uneven wear on my tires. I am seeing excessive wear on the inside edge of my tires. To me this indicates that I have negative camber resulting from the lift. My assumption has been that the way to correct this would be to get upper control arms that will be a bit longer and will thus restore the camber to its correct angle.

Is there something I am missing that might allow me to keep my original UCA's and still get my alignment sorted out so that my tires will wear evenly and my truck will handle properly?

    thanks for any input!

I swapped to dirt kings ball joint arm and have had 0 complaints so far. And I'm about to roll over 2 years with them as opposed to one summer with the spc's
I havnt had any poor tire wear at a 2" lift. I was able to clear 285's without a chop bit it was tight so I'm assuming these have a bit more caster built in than would be desired for maximum clearence.

Why did you go with the HDs? I'm in my truck for months at a time on dirt and rocky roads, but I try to avoid anything too extreme.

I just like overbuilding stuff and I didn't want to wish I had got something beefier down the line. Plus if there's ever a sweet jump it's 1 less thing to worry about. So far the rest of my suspension has been too good to let me catch any air though, not sure if I'm happy or sad about that lol.

JBAs FTW! No issues with mine after ditching my SPCs. I've had my SPCs listed locally for $175 and can't even get rid of them lol.
