SPC UCA install advice

Post the alignment sheet too so someone could chime in on settings.

Ahhh then it looks like you are missing the rectangular plate under your round washer under the large cap nut. Unless it’s a new design....?

Camber on mine is 0.15 degrees and caster is 2.89 degrees

 

I honestly couldn’t tell you on design. Let’s hope I’m not missing anything!

 

I am seriously not trying to cause you any worry. The part numbers are right.

It looks like mine is so different because the plate and bolt are aligned different. I think it need to be scooted back as someone mentioned.

 

Yours do need to be slid all the way out.

 

You're talking about the square plate underneath that indexes the ball joint at different offsets?

 

Also I’m not sure if they ever corrected it in the install paperwork but when you have them slide that out make sure it’s torqued to 150 ft/lbs. the paperwork stated a lower torque on them.

 

Yea that pound rating isnwhats in the paperwork so they must of updated

No. My bad, he’s right. The angle was playing tricks on me

 

I used a 4 ft steel pipe and a torque wrench to break the nut free. Tightening to 150ft-lbs wasn’t the hard part

 

I think u have your ball joints rotated 180 out from the 0 degree setting. That’s why most people have the but almost all the way to the outside while yours being all the way in is still not enough to get the tires at 0 degree camber

 

Also I had one of my UCA bolts work loose one time so every once in a while take a look up there and make sure they are tight. I heard a noise and found it.

 

Might be time for arm day.

 

Looking at yours you have the rounded part facing out




While this one, which is correct has the flat part out and the rounded part torward the inside

 

couldn’t get leverage to break the nut free, not tighten. Tightening was easy.
