Hello everyone, I wanted to see if anyone was using non-SPC bushings on their SPC UCA's.

I wanted to use the SpecRide bushings but from what I've researched, they are discontinued.

I have heard bad things about the X-Axis bushings so looking to stay away from them.

    Thank you!

Energy Suspension sells a full set of bushings for the stock control arms if they are the same size as the SPC ones. If not you might try looking through their universal bushings to see if they have one the correct size.

No, unfortunately, there is not a good source for bushings other than SPC's current offering for their UCAs. On top of that, they are quite a bear to replace even for a well equipped shop without specialty jigs and press tools.

I have been through this pursuit myself, as have many others, and now you. I wish I had a better answer for you.

If they aren't covered under warranty, you may want to bite the bullet and switch to another UCA. That is where most of us end up after dealing with some of the common SPC UCA gripes and problems.

    Thank you both!

I think it's time to switch to Dirt King UCA's :/ I'll miss the camber adjustablity for sure.

That's where I ended up and I'm glad for it. I found that I did not need the hyperadjustability of the SPCs at all - just a good alignment tech who actually takes the time to dial stuff correctly instead of "good enough", something hard to find in a lot of places it seems.
