Called spc to find out how they recommend solving my sparky bushings, and he told me what to do and mentioned the program.

edit: read that wrong, just call spc I worked with Justin. Just mention the program, confirm that you have the old version and you should be good to go.

I have the newer version SPC UCA. I got them new for $400 a few years back. I can't believe how much the price has jumped up on these. Glad I got them when i did.

OP, You got lucky because despite those being the old style arm, they have already been upgraded with the new xAxis bushings and geasable ball joints. Put a few pumps of grease in the ball joint and youre good to go.

OP you have a great set of arms there. Those are SPC's half forged half tube arms, with the updated greaseable ball joint and brand new style xAxis joints (instead of bushings) at the frame.

there is ZERO reason to get rid of the arm for the new style fully forged ones.... same adjustability, same strength, and you have the latest xAxis joints. Plenty of people run these arms including myself... i have the same half tube half forged arms with the slightly older style non greaseable ball joint and just pressed in some xAxis joints.

ONLY thing is to make sure the ball joints are ones for the tacoma and not the 4 runner as they have a slightly different taper on the ball joint stem. And my only note is to go to the hardware store and get a few washers of different thickness that will fit the m14 bolt at the frame so you can take up and fore/aft movement between the xAxis joints.

These are the arms i run and they're great, plus you can use the adjustability to move the tire slightly forward in the wheel well. Been all over with them and had 0 issues.

You have essentially the latest generation of arms. You have the greaseable ball joints and the nice xAxix sealed bearings.... there isnt any upgrade. (other than the full forged arm itself which nets you nothing)

oh derp, sorry yeah. if your non greaseable ball joints are in good condition and still tight you can get the xAxis joint upgrade kit like i did and press them in.

No worries, I ended up contacting SPC and getting some new ones for $200 after I send my old ones back. At $200 it was cheaper than rebuilding the old ones.

I can't comment on them yet but I actually just bought a pair to replace my Total Chaos. The noise with TC is insane, from both the bushings and the uniballs. I greased them every oil change as recommended and have already replaced bushings/uniballs once. Even with new bushings, the TC's groaned like crazy on the trail.. Hoping to have a better experience with SPC... it was not a cheap change.
