That’s correct. I’ll try adjusting the toe first first and see what happens, definitely toed out at the moment. After more reading, going to B or C is probably not the way to go. Was just surprised to see that I lost a noticeable amount of clearance with my adjustments.

How are people getting 4* of caster with these UCAs?

Start with D. That's what I started with. The main thing is to make sure the oem bottom adjustments are adjusted to pull the wheel forward in the wheel well. The front adjuster to pull the Lower LCA Inward to the max, and the rear adjuster adjusted to push the bottom LCA forward (max outward position). Then you adjust camber on the upper SPC adjuster to get Camber dialed in and caster. The more positive caster you add on the top SPC adjuster (A, B, C settings) the more the wheel gets pushed back toward the rear again so don't add too much just enough to make the vehicle track and drive straight. For me on 33's position D worked perfect while some have to move to position E or F.

Depending on your lift, you can get that much caster by setting the SPCs to "A" and the LCAs the way you're doing them. You don't want 4* caster. I have 4* now and I have a heavy wheel. Use the "D" or "E" settings.

Gotcha. Yeah, I was on setting D to start with, had rubbing on sharp turns/full lock. Made the adjustments at the LCA and moved to F setting and lost clearance. I’ll keep playing around with it, I appreciate the input

I just did this last week. Set the SPC ball joint at position C, moved LCA all the way forward. The alignment reading before making changes was 5+ degrees caster. I have a very good alignment guy and he adjusted them to position E (I think, not 100% sure though). I now have about 3.6 (left) and 3.8 (right) caster, zero camber, and 0.03 toe. Tons of clearance to cab mount and firewall this way even when stuffed at lock.

Mind you I'm a 2nd gen but your 3rd gen should be the same. Do what others said and start with either D or E. Caster first, camber second, toe is last. Should get you close.

@BassMaster06 what lift are you working with? Tire size? Rim size including offset or Backspace

Weird, doesn't make sense in my head that you'd lose clearance. are you sure you moved to F and not B? good luck. seems like you're on the right path. like i said most important thing is making sure the lca's are adjusted properly first and then not touching them after they're maxed out to push the wheel forward.

2nd gen. 5100s and 887s, small top plate spacer on DS , 17x9 -12 offset, 285/70/17. Suspension is practically brand new, including new lower control arms, lower ball joints and bushings. All this replaced an older full OME setup that I installed 7 or 8 years ago. SPC ball joints and bushings were replaced a little over a year ago.

Spcs at setting E, lowers maxxed, 1" of lift, -1.3 degrees of camber, feels like 3 degrees of castor. 35s, -43mm offset total, cmc, firewall beat, etc

Yeah, the SPC logo on the UBJ is pointed to the rear of the truck, angled outwards on both sides for the F position according to the install sheet.

Your LCA cams aren't "maxxed out" There is 20 marks of delineation. The last mark should be at the end in the middle of the gusset. I can't see the rear but if they're are the same way then you need to max them out.

It looks like your LCA cams are correct.
Just to confirm can you post pictures of the SPC's and how it is set?

Ok. For clarification in my head , the delineation marks shown in this pic. The first one at the top being “1” and the last one at the bottom being “20”, I’m guessing you’re referring to “20” and that needs to be rotated until the mark is horizontal and perpendicular to the outside tab?

The hash marks are not very accurate. They are there more for reference. I wouldn't put too much value on them. (Use them to indicate movement)

All looks correct from what I can tell. You may just have to CMC with those 9" wide rims. keep playing with them and see if you can come up with any more clearance but I would think where you have them would be the best spot.

Yes put them at 20. You essentially have them almost in the middle. Toyota uses them in the factory and they even have graphs in their FSM to show how each and every mark affects caster/camber. Furthermore you have brand new LCAs which have very tight bushings so you will see a difference.

I may have jumped the gun about my clearance loss. I was measuring with a level from the bottom of the fender to the tire. I took before and after measurements and it was 1/2” closer to the rear fender afterwards. The tire appears to be further back in the wheel well, but I started the truck and turned the wheel both ways and I’m not contacting anything anymore. Maybe I didn’t let the suspension settle enough or maybe it’s just the new angle of the two components. I’m gonna try and fix my toe and take it for a spin and see what I get and go from there with everyone’s suggestions.

My apologies, I should have actually checked for rubbing/clearance by turning the wheel before posting.
