This is kind of interesting, looking at my alignment report, it seems they dropped my castor from 3.5 to 2.5 on the Front Left and 2.9 to 2.8 on the Front right

But yea I assumed all tires are created differently, but this just seems to be a significant change when turning 1/2-3/4

Just cut the plastic off. What I did then ended up pinch welding too

So crazy how different trucks can be from the factory. Just installed lift and 285/75/16s on same spec wheels as you and have no rubs anywhere. I haven't stuffed yet which def will rub on the cab mount (will be chopped soon) but daily driving forward/reverse/turning = no issues at all. Should also mention this is on stock UCAs and pre allignment (waiting on springs to settle a bit) so my caster/camber is not at all in spec.

Good luck to you sir, hope you get it figured out soon.

The SPCs can help with rear wheel clearance and it's the reason I bought them (1.75" lift with 265/75/16's on 3.5" BS SCS F5s)....whether they will be enough for your truck is the question. In the SPC instructions they state that to max out the rear wheel clearance you set the LCA cam bolts to max positive and then adjust the UCA balljoint setting to get the caster you want.

Sad that you're experiencing that much rubbing with that wheel setup. I have 3" lift, SPC UCA with 295s on 16x8 w/ 0 offset and i only need to trim some plastics to clear the streets. My cab mount barely clears on the street but will need chop for offroad.

What wheels / tires are you running?

My pinch welds were flattened when I did the CMC. At this point I think its just the plastic as well

285/75r16 Toyo RTs with 16x8 0 offset and 1.25mm wheel spacers. I still rub my CMC slightly offroad and reversing. Just cut what needs to be cut. It really isn’t that bad. I said the same thing years ago.

Just do some trimming on the plastic and cab mount, even if you have to pay someone to do a good job it's worth it.

I don't think he wants to cut the plastic guys, I think half a dozen people have suggested it but he doesn't respond to them lol.

In my experience even with 33s more positive caster helped but I still had to trim the fender liner and fenders (different gen Tacoma though). But when it comes to 35s there's just no way you're going to avoid trimming that, especially if you go offroad.

I didn't want to either, but here I am with no rubbing. OP will come around:)

Other option is to heat it up with a heat gun and try to re-mold the plastic, but I don't really see how that would be better than just cutting it. I think a clean cut will look just fine

    Too few to list.
I think a better alignment is what is needed. Move those caster numbers to 3-3.5 and doubt there will be anymore rubbing.

Actually I was on the fence between just ripping the front fenders completely off and just selling the rig and getting a Gladiator haha :crapstorm:

Could always put fiberglass on there

I actually think the Gladiators are kinda cool but I couldn't bring myself to own a newer Jeep.

tell them to max your caster out then see where you are. No point on changing arms imo. just trim that shit.

Yea at this point Im going to take it back to the alignment shop and see how much more castor I can get out of it and see what happens. No rubbing on my last pair of tires vs my new tires now and the rubbing thats happening now, the delta seems too high IMO.
