I have plans to buy new UCAs in the next month to get better alignment numbers. My 2wd is lifted 4" with Maxtrax, 1.5" with OME coils and 1" with Toytec BL. I want to reach higher caster numbers and maybe doing this, reduce some of my steering wheel vibration as had been suggested by some TW members in the past. My alignment guy told me that he can't do better than 1.9 Driver and 2.5 Passenger with the OEM UCAs. So, what do you guys think between SPC and JBA?

SPC will allow for far more adjustment than the JBA's

That stated, unless your alignment guy knows his shit, the SPC arms often stump the typical alignment monkey... that is why i just do my own alignments at home and get a free alignment check at the big brand tires.

Personally I have jba’s had no issue getting 4* of caster.

I'm not a fan of jba just due to using chevy ball joints. Haha

JBA has addressed that problem, they now come with a new coating.

Their customer service is top notch!

Real top notch I see. These types of places do better with a phone call.

Hmmm, that's unusual...I sent an e-mail last Thursday inquiring about replacing my rusted ball joints, heard back right away, and the replacements arrived yesterday.

Maybe they were on holiday shut down?

He usually answers quickly. He sent me the new version and unfortunately they started to rust quickly to. Now I have a while new set of JBA's that I am lightly scuffing and am going to coat with Eastwood's 2K Epoxy Clear. Fine the whole arm including the top ball joint plate. Love my JBA's

The email wasnt about parts replacement, it was an inquiry about how parts would fit.

I think that I will go with the SPC. I can't really trust in a product that start to rust in a few weeks.
