What's going on everyone? I'm going to be installing 6.75" Kicker CS (CSS67) in the front and back of my double cab. My question, is it worth it to purchase the Taco Tunes heavy duty speaker adapters ($41.99) or the budget friendly for ($16.00)? Or is there another option out there, thanks for the help.

I bought the ones from Best Buy, no complaints

The HD adapters from ********* are stout! I love mine! I first put a 1' square piece of 80 mil sound deadener on the door and then mounted the adapter. I also used FastRings I got from Amazon between the speaker and the adapter as well as on top of the adapter to channel all the sound into the cab and not into the door panel.

I used to have a ton of vibration in the door panel. The HD adapters in conjunction with sound deadener and Fast Rings eliminated all of it! Amazing mid-bass as well! Very satisfied.

I highly recommend these. Buy right buy once! That's my motto.

You should try sealing your doors if you think that made a difference.

The best speaker adapters I've ever used were homemade out of cutting boards. Takes maybe $10 and a jigsaw and an hour of your time if you're slow. And they're way stouter than any of those plastic jobs you can buy.
