    Thanks for the help everyone, I just ordered Infinity Kappa 5.25 components for the front, Kappa 6x8 coaxials for the rear, & an Alpine plug n play inline amp for my HU. Crutchfield says the Kappa components won't fit the front doors but we'll see.

    Ordered everything from Amazon Prime free same day so it should all be here tomorrow if Amazon shipping doesn't screw up. Well everything except the 5x7 to 5.25 adapter. That should be here Wed. I'll probably check out local stereo shops tomorrow to see if they have the adapter.

    I've always been a fan of infinity kappa myself. Pricey but the sound is very nice

    Because of recommendation I have made adapters out of the thin plastic cutting boards for the doors of my celica. It had 10" mid bass speakers in the doors but now kappa 6.5
    Thin and strong. Just paint them black

    I used Infinity 5x7s in the rear and Infinity 5 1/4 in the front with adapter plates I bought. JVC HU. seperate amp with 2x 10s in a box.
