    not enough.
Has anyone attempted to put a speaker into the bed storage spaces? I find that I don't ever use those little cubbies and was thinking about putting a speaker in there. Would make drive-in movies and chilling in the bed a bit more enjoyable.

    Thoughts? Experiences? Ideas? Tips?

that's where most audio nuts put their stuff. i have an amp, a sub, a capacitor, and a bunch of Dynamat back there. check the audio video forum for installs. some show up in this forum, too.

do you need it to be a Ridgeline to justify a good stereo or something? there are some serious audio installs on Tacomas you know.

Why would most audio nuts put their equipment outside in the bed exposed to the weather?

i guess someone's confused, probably me. is he asking about putting stuff in the cab and behind the seats? or outside the cab?

"little cubbies" as in, behind the seats? or those little plastic cubbies in the bed for bungees?

I read it as the storage spots in the bed.

From his original post, the bed storage cubbies, mine has one on each side. I think he wanted to wire speakers so you could hear the radio in the bed, and use the cubbies to house them. The Ridgeline comment was because they have that option from the factory.

He's most definitely talking about speakers in the bed storage pockets. Not inside the cab.

my dad ( @Mr.Miyagi ) made some filler brackets for my brother ( @Blais03 ) that hold 6.5" speakers. although they fit a more ideal size is 5.25" as it is tight! Nick, post up a pick of em for this dude

to add: MARINE SPEAKERS ARE A MUST!!!!

    not enough.
Sorry for the late response. Strange array of reactions. haha. Yea, I was talking about those in-bed storage cubbies. The small one is mostly useless to me and was thinking about what I could do to it. I'm not thinking of putting some huge-ass speakers in there just something that I could at least hear audio through and possibly use. That said, this is just a thought and doing some research.

@Blais03 your build looks pretty cool! Looks like you mounted it in between the bed and side of the body eh?
