Why not just go with an lc7i. You already have all of the wires there, just need to get a couple sets of short rca cables to go to the amps. The lc7i is only $150

The way you attenuate a tweeter is by installing an L-Pad... which you don't want to do because finding the right one will be annoying and you would need a spot to mount it (it looks like a panel mount gain knob).

My real question is WHYYYYY on earth you would install tweeters on top of a 3-Way speaker? Any idea of the impedance of the tweeter? I'm guessing the total load on just that circuit is too low because the 3-Way is already at 4 Ohms.

I'm with the others that recommended sending it all back and starting over. Get some decent comps for the front and voice matching coaxials for the rear. Don't get Kicker, or MTX or anything strictly budget. Mid-grade JBL, JL, Alpine will sound just fine. If you're going to keep the stock HU, make sure you select something efficient (90dB+), and since you'd be using the factory wiring, a component set with a tweeter cap (like the one you got) instead of an external passive crossover.

At the very least, remove the additional tweeters and run like that.

So I still plan on swapping out my 3-ways with something more like the rockfords I mentioned earlier but..... I figured out something that significantly helped... apparently either my ears or those tweeters don't handle the 12.5k frequency very well. I set my EQ to powerful and then took the 12.5k way down to -6 and my ears instantly felt happier...
