Speaker Upgrade Question

Hey y'all, I first posted this in the 2nd Gen forum to no response. Just looking for some advice and guidance.

I have a 2015 TRD Sport DCLB.

I know this has been asked, AND I have scoured the forum for threads covering this topic searching for answers. I am just curious how you all feel these replacement JBL speakers would work in my truck.

I have the Premium Entune HU without the JBL package. I do not plan on replacing the head unit at this time, nor do I plan on adding an amp or a sub. I do plan on putting in some sound deadening in the doors however. I just want some better sounding audio (have to remain on a small budget) that I don't have to have turned almost all the way up to hear. I am a complete noob at doing this sort or work (in a vehicle,) but plan on doing the work myself.

For the front doors- (plan on using the stock tweeters, will those still work?)

I changed all the speakers in my truck and it sounds so much better. These are what I went with.

Bought the wire harnesses from ********* so I didn’t have to splice into any of the factory wiring. Change out the tweeters while you have everything opened up. The factory ones suck

 

Just buy everything from taco tunes. They have a package deal that is better than you’d get from Crutchfield. It’s also an easier install.
