Ok I already have a sound system in my truck(2001 chevy silverado 1500 extended cab) and want it in the bed of the truck. I would like to use marine speakers though. Am I gonna have to buy everything again to put in the back? Like the amp, subs or just the speakers?

    welcome to tacomaworld.

yea your gonna need to buy everything again and make sure everything is marine quality.

marine speakers, marine amp(s), marine speaker wire, marine shrink tubing.

gotta make sure it survives in the rain.... where are you gonna install them at in the bed?

Just curious why you joined... Anyways, you want to mount the deck (and whole system) in the bed? or just run a couple speakers to the bed?

I'm not sure where at in the bed. I have a tool box and I also don't want to have to cut a lot of wholes in the bed. Where do you suggest? And how many speakers should I get?

If I didn't prefer a toyota I would have bought a Chevy, 56-58 only though.
Gonna need pics of truck to give best advice tho.
