I just recently got a Tacoma (3rd gen, JBL Audio Package) and its only issue was one of the tweeters was blown/sounds funky. it doesn't handle certain higher frequencies well without making a sort of fuzzy noise. I've been looking everywhere trying to just find the OEM JBL tweeter replacement. I reached out to JBL themselves out of desperation and they couldn't even point me where to go. Just curious if anyone has had a similar experience and how did they fix it?

Go aftermarket. Recommend replacing all the speakers. Do a search. Lots of speaker replacement posts on TW.

I'll be honest, i actually like the JBL sound system. Not looking to drop a bunch of money, just trying to find the replacement tweeter...

Not a new truck I assume, or you could warranty it. Skip JBL, call the dealer and ask for the part.

From what I've read on here, you can replace all your factory JBL speakers with aftermarket JBL speakers and it's a known upgrade. Probably cheaper than getting more OEM speakers as well. The JBL stuff is Ohmed weird, so their aftermarket speakers play the best with it.

I think it is this Toyota part #. Description says without JBL, but then says with premium and JBL.
