I want to upgrade my factory speakers. Which set do you recommend? Just speakers with factory head unit.

Those all look good but do the tweeters too while you have the door panels off. Will sound better with your stock head unit but until you add amp you wont really see the best results. I added speakers, amp, sub woofer and soundproofing to mine with stock head unit and it was better. When I added an upgraded head unit and downloaded an audio control app it blew the doors off.

If you do either of those, DON’T swap the tweeters in the door. Those kickers and JBLs already have 2 tweeters each, a third would peel your face off at volume with 3 tweeters a side.

Ideally, you want speakers that have low power handling, as the stock deck puts out 12-15w and has +90db sensitivity.

Id go to Crutchfield for these KENWOOD speakers, comes with all you need.

I'd recommend throwing the factory headunit and speakers in the trash.

I'd add components to the front, non components in the rear, a nice sub and an amp to power it all.

I totally agree. I do have the ugly 2012 non jbl head with the big knobs too . I simply don’t want to start a big project just something a little nicer than my stock sound and plug and play.

While I agree with @81shark , just remember that new speakers doesn’t always mean drastic improvements. Sometimes the old saying is true, “Garbage in, garbage out.”

ps. Just so you know, the OE stereo comes out with a pop of the A/C controls and 4 10mm bolts. Crutchfield can get you hooked up with a much nicer headunit, and make the wiring plug-n-play for you as well. Food for thought.
