My pleasure. It’s a little more fiddly that in looks in the video, but the basic jist is there.

An important note I learned the hard way: the white plastic v-clips on the A-pillar and B-pillar “garnish” mouldings will be left behind in the door metal, but they must be put back onto the plastic garnish piece before you snap the garnish back into place. If you press the garnish on with the clips still stuck in the door, you’ll push them into the door to be lost. You’ll know what I’m talking about when you take your door apart.

The speakers arent as much of a problem as the head unit. You put in 100w speakers but the deck is probably 15 watt

I pushed one in and it went into the inside of the door. I did not want to go fishing for it as it would be in fluid film (rust protection). Asked the local Toyota dealer how much for just 1 white clip? Toyota Part Number: 67771-58010

$9.50 each plus tax (Canadian $) and they need to be ordered. I said I can live without one for now. If I get time to remove the rear door panel and plastic sheet maybe I can fish through the fluid film for the small white clip. I hope I didn't bust it when I pressed the trim piece back on.

True, but you can still improve the sound with some speakers that don't need 100watts . Most quality speakers (I'm old school and I remember back in the day Mb Quart as being #1, now they don't make nearly the same products and they have been replaced by Focal as #1) like Focal do well with anything from 5watt and up.

Yeah I made that mistake once, had to pull the door panel off again to search for that damn clip inside the door.

How about 4 for a dollar! I could sell 7 packs and I keep 2 for free.
