As a hiker, mtb'er, and 4 wheeler, I really don't like using muddy trails because they get torn up so much. I couldn't even imagine doing something like the above.

 

stupid. and it says he is a scout leader! yeah some scout leader he is......not.

 

As an Eagle Scout this really pisses me off.

 

Their intentions were right, but yes, if it is a National park you would probably be better off telling a park ranger.

 

No kidding. Zero common sense was applied in this situation. That's the whole allure if goblin valley, those balanced rocks, why would you knock it over. Bunch of pricks

 

If there is some sense of karma here, at least the guy may have screwed himself out of a lawsuit. He is currently suing someone after a 2009 wreck for long-term disability, intense pain, loss of quality of life, etc. Hard to argue that when you can be seen in a video with obviously enough ability to push over a large rock. What a douche.

Obviously it wasn't going to fall without some ass pushing it over, it's been there for millions of years. Some people can't appreciate natures incredible beauty without disturbing it. Too much ignorance in that video!
