I just installed SPEC-D TUNING headlights with LED strips on my 2012 Tacoma. My stock headlights were hazy and looked terrible, and OEM replacements are pricey. I know aftermarket headlights— even Alpharex and Morimoto—get trashed online, so I decided to try a ($192) lower-cost option just to scratch the itch.

My initial impressions are positive—the headlights look good. Installation was plug-and-play and took about 2 hours. After adjusting them and driving at night, the light output wasn’t bad at all. Based on internet consensus, I expected it to be nearly useless, like no headlights or a weak 1990s flashlight.

I will update you all if/ when I start to experience issues. here are some install pics 1000008590.jpg 1000008592.jpg 1000008599.jpg

I have some $50 ebay headlights on mine and haven't had any issues in almost a year.
