I just realized I got the glossy black with smoked lenses. That could be the issue causing lights to look more dim than they actually are.

eBay seller is offering a replacement but may not need one of this is how they are.

How do the LED bars operate during signalling? Do they stay on, turn off or flash?

The comment about them only turning on when going to the park light notch had me wondering.

They stay on, and do not flash with blinkers.

I had mine for a good while now and they have been great! Almost two full weeks of rain here in Maryland and not a bit of moisture inside.

@Surfer_Mayne did you seal them before installing and did you upgrade the bulbs?

@Tacomaski Nope and nope - although I am considering upgrading the bulbs in the near future. out of the box, I would say they are slightly brighter and have a slightly farther reach but not quite as wide of a spread as the OEM headlights.

Mine have held up well. I did seal them right away and upgraded to HID bulbs. Projectors could be better but that’s a given

I also got the Smoked lenses from a local guy which I was not expecting but for the price I couldn't turn it down. I would much prefer the black with clear lenses.

Here’s a recent pic of mine. Look just a bit blueish. I did swap for black housing with clear lenses.

Yes thats correct. Its more noticeable when there is a lot of ambient light. Less noticeable at dusk or when its dark, they look whiter

Any updates on how they're holding up? How is the led bar output during a sunny day?

Still on the fence for these. Already had bad experiences with a set of aftermarkets Im currently running. It's a shame all the quality aftermarkets are for 3rd gens only. Not a fan of the retrofits either since I like the led bar design on these ones.

I just got these in the mail, still skeptical about them and their blue purple tint but for 250 had to try them out. I'm in southern California but I'll report back with how they're doing after installing them in. Not much on YouTube about these lights.

    Following thread as well.

Mine have been holding up great for the past eight months with no leaks or issues. I wasn't sure I liked them at first but they're growing on me. A decent upgrade that looks OEM-ish.

Your set doesn't look blue or purple at all. Looking good!

Thanks but that's bc they aren't on. My LED bars have the blue/purplish tint to them as well during the daytime

Dont have any pics of it handy but can get some later today.. At night time/low light they look bright white. The purple tint really only shows when it's bright outside

I've had these on my truck since October last year. Sealed em with silicone around the edges just to be safe before installing. Also swapped out for an LED bulb that works much better than a halogen, you just have to buy the ones with LED's all around the tip, not just on the sides or you'll get a weird light pattern. can provide a link if anyone needs one.

The blue look is gonna be there during daytime, though its more prevalent in pictures than it is in person. They've held up well, though I had one fail on me last week because i ruptured my transmission hose and it sprayed over the back so I'm assuming a short somewhere. That being said, it all still works...the headlight projector just won't come on in low beam, but in high beam it activates fine.

See my avatar for a pic of it at night. no filter on that one or anything
