Whats up all feeling a little nostalgic in my old age. Back in 2002 or 2003 while living in the state of Georgia I test drove and considered buying (expensive for the time ~ 25K) a 1st Gen Taco with some options I have not seen since. If I recall correctly it was a double cab, beige and automatic. I was young and had no clue what it all had. Always wondered if I bought it if I would still own a truck like that.

It had what appeared to be a 'factory' tubish roof rack and slick BBS wheels. What package was that? Dealer installed or Factory? Was it 4WD?

Would love to see pics of this particular example if possible.
    Thanks!

Yeah I guessed it would be a shot in the dark. Probably a dealer optioned Taco.

You could get factory roof racks. Whatever options went on vary from dealer to dealer.

Yeah, all that stuff was dealer installed.

Are you asking US if it was 4wd?? Could have been either, actually. If you had 2 shift levers, it was 4wd... otherwise it was a prerunner.

Factory roof bars were 2003 only if I'm not mistaken.
The rims could have been ivan stewerts since they were optioned on the tundras around that time.

Yeah back in the day they didn't even both installing oem cruise control, they opt for an aftermarket option from Rostra. Such bullshit.

Fuck that, my friend just acquired an xterra w/o pw/locks/pm as well. I told him 'lets hope that the wiring is mostly there and we just need to source the stuff for the doors. Haven't gotten around to it cuz he broke.

Awesome. When I bought my 2002 new, they had a 4x4 Ivan Iron man Stewert tundra with those rims on the floor. It was about twice what I have for my prerunner.
