Still blows me away why people waste an extra $5k - $10K on a truck when they don't plan to ever take it off road.

Buy a fucking 2WD non TRD non Pre-Runner then you morons.

I'm one of those morons who chose a new 2010 4x4 because it was the same price as a 2011 PreRunner.

    I know, I'm stupid....

Because it too, has never seen the dirt.

Yep could have saved yourself $5k or more if you just bought a 2010 Non 4x4 non pre-runner.

Why would you even need a pre-runner if you not going off road?

Oh well, to each his own. I know a lot of people are more about the looks than the functionality so I cant blame you for your decision.

I like the height and often visit the cabin in Tahoe where a 2wd PreRunner is good for going on light trails that don't need 4x4. What I mean by my truck not seeing dirt, I mean the hardcore off roading and rock climbing that my friends do that require lockers and the assistance of the front drive.

My truck was bought for 23,400 new. The regular 2wd 2011 were going for about 20k. The new PreRunners 2011 were going for 24k.

Well some people the 4x4 for snow and mountain roads rather than offroad. And the interior is nice in the TRD models, as well as the looks of the Sport... plus some people just have a lot of money and don't give a shit. But I do get what you're saying.

Well see, there you go, my rant does not even apply to you. You DO use your truck for what it was meant to be used for! :D

Yea, see, my rant does not apply here either. If your using it for snow or mountain roads, your still using it for what it was intended (not mall crawling).

Come to a place where it snows and you'll find out why people buy 4wd trucks with no intention of off roading... Apparently, I'm also one of those morons

    Read my last post...

Does not apply, your using the truck for what it was intended. If you need 4x4 to drive in the snow then its money well spent...

If the shoe fits wear it, if not, ignore my post its just a rant any way.
