Installed some lights in front and in the back yesterday with the expert help of Matt (RecklessTaco).

The bar up front is an IronDirt lightbar with 3 HELLA 500 lamps that I bought off a TW member. Glad the bumper didn't have to come off for that one

I got some yellow Laminx for the foglights and put that on as well for added protection. Easy to apply without taking out the enclosures... I just used a spray bottle (for the wet application) a hair dryer, and my drivers license to flatten out the vinyl on the curved surface and push the water out. It doesn't appear to have diminished the light output much either.

I like how the bar doesn't protrude much from the bumper like I've seen with some other light bars
    [IMG]

I got the Linex'd 36" bedlight bar from Albert (w8n4mud). Really easy to install and is a solid fit. I used Harbor Freight yellow 55W halogen fog lamps. The lights came with a single switch, but I wanted them to operate independently, so I bought additional switches.

Had to modify my TacomaWorld.com sticker since the light was blocking it :p
    [IMG]

We decided this would be the best place to mount the switches...the top one operates the HELLAs and the bottom two operate each light in the bed.

Lost my shackle bolt in Pismo a few weeks back so I went out and got this monster 1" bolt and nut.

    Looks good.

How easy is it to take that shackle off after putting on the bolt?

    Thanks Danny!

Tri, the nut on that bolt has those locking threads on it so it can't spin off so it's actually kind of a pain to take it off. I figure I can loop another shackle in there without having to remove that one.

I see, the one in Pismo must have been a little loose from pulling out some trucks. I have had mine on all the time since I got it and it has never gotten loose. It kinda locks at the end of the turn.

My sliders are around the corner...let me know if you want to test yours!!!
