So, there's lots of people who've bought LED map lights. I got to various websites and get lost on specs of diameters, lengths, etc. vs. what will fit. So I decided to take some measurements. I hope what I've found will help others decide just what 194 LED's you want to buy.

    Stock 194 bulb I measured:

    24mm length
    10mm diameter

    Max possible dimensions:

36 mm length +or- 1mm (tough to measure without cutting hole in lens)

    12mm diameter hole in reflector

13mm from base of socket to lip of reflector (i.e. this amount is behind the reflector)

So to note, if part of the diameter of an LED that is larger than 12mm is built past the 13mm socket depth, it might fit.

    Dome light specs:

    38mm total stock length

    22mm between retaining/power clips

Most other bulbs seem to not be such an issue. Enjoy
