    Hi all,

I don't use Gps systems a whole lot, but yesterday I did and I found that my mph gauge is consistently undershooting the speed for about 3 mph.

Is this a measure of toyota to keep its clients away from cops:D?

No kidding, seriously, I have the 60" wheels with the stupid dunlop tires, and I am experiencing this...

    Has anyone else noticed it?

This topic has been discussed ad nauseum my man. There is some acceptable error in the system, based on legal/Toyota specs.

The Odo should still rack up miles fairly correctly.

Not much pics needed, heres the point: Speed on the GPS = Speed on the gauge - 3 mph ;)

    I agree, so I guess the gauge has a +/- 3mph error?

    Magnaflow muffler, TRD CAI.
In his case (and mine) the speedometer will say he is going say 50MPH but the GPS will be saying 47MPH.

I had a similar error on mine too when I bought it... I Think they do that on purpose to make you burn your warranty faster or accomidate for someone who puts larger wheels on it. I put larger wheels and tires on it and now I am tracking on taret with actual speed.. So now you have an excuse to get a lift and wheels!

Yeah I had the same problem with the GPS but I believe its a problem with the GPS device itself not the truck.
