Speed can kill ... truck cab integrity saves

My 4k dash cam caught this. The joker (I can say this because he lived) passed me at 10 MPH faster minimum. The sequence shown occurred a least 500 ft in front. I did stop to see if the flip onto the road parallel to the freeway was fatal. Passenger side of cab crushed, driver side stayed, but only driver was in. It all started with him hitting center-freeway dirt ditch ...

Many are in a hurry,,,, to get there seconds faster, some will never make it though.

 

"4k dash cam".... provides flip phone quality pictures.

 

And those images are "zoomed"

So you have a 4k video, but gave us zoomed in flip phone pictures....

 

The owner should show those pictures to his insurance company and claim that Big Foot was driving his truck.

 

Looks like he was distracted, drifted left, and way overcorrected to the right

Depending on compression and recording method, pulling out decent stills from a video can be problematic.

 

Seems silly to try to pull stills out of a 4k video when you post a series of stills to show someone crashing... just post the video.

Addressing two things ... this was shown to police to show the joker caused his own problems.
