I don't think it will work on my truck. My leafs are flat at full bump. If I c notch then they will go negative arch. Maybe if I were to link the rear, but I don't think I want to spend the money on that lol I'm going to talk to Jeff at deaver and see what he can do for me. I might have to do wider leaf packs and redo the leaf mounts. Not sure. He's built 2 different packs for me and its still not where I want it, but I'm sure we can figure it out. I only need 3" more ride height.

@89sleeper what kind of fab work can you do? I need some sheet metal work done

Mid travel is ok, you wouldn't slow us down too much since we stop frequently to get our bearings and stretch our legs. Do you have any suspension upgrades? Tires? Only thing I worry about is that stock trucks might breaks things and street tires won't hold up.

2wd is ok, but you might have to take the strap.

Foxes all around , 33 duratracks , tc uca's, 4.56 gears with a Auburn diff nothing too crazy, compared to valved bypasses is what I was worried about ha.
Is this a "man" trip or are we bringing significant others as well?

dude! You'll be fine. Thats a good setup. Just drive at a comfortable pace and we'll wait for you at turns and keep in radio contact. You have a full size spare??? Water and enough fuel range?

We don't mind if you bring your girl (or dude I guess lol). We're all super cool. As far as I know, we're all rolling solo, but bring whoever you want.

Full size spare check, water check, i might need to grab some fuel tanks just to safe.
Let me see what's up, and I'll let you know either way for sure tonight!

Notching the frame is definitely a good way to go, uptravel is where the magic happens! You can get a custom pack made from deaver so you have the additional uptravel and retain the ride height and ground clearance you want, If you want to come by the shop and chat, let me know!

I'm pretty fast even with a small motor because I've tuned my suspension and have been out there a lot, but in all honesty, I am always making sure everyone is on the same path because we're all out there to have fun.

It's those jeep guys you gotta worry about...they meet up with everyone and take off straight to the obstacle course because they can't keep up or don't care about the group, it's a jeep thing...i don't understand lol us yota boys keep the group tight, make sure everyone is good and have a killer time!

I'd offer an open seat to anybody if my friend doesn't ride with me but it would be last minute.

But if you go out there and they don't come with, I don't mind passengers. As long as your eye sight is better than mine (which is terrible) that's cool too.

Most of our runs are fine for stock trucks. We're doing southern Utah at the end of September and that would be a great trip for a stock truck.

However, you definitely need some all terrain or mud tires for Anza. For that matter, stock tires are no good off road period. If you can throw a set of tires on your rig plus a full size spare, and carry extra fuel, then let roll homie!

Updated first post with a loose route/itinerary. You will need to have some good fuel range for this trip. Friday’s run will be around 125 – 175 miles between fuel stops, but it will be lots of super soft sand and high speed. I am expecting 5 – 7 mpg on my truck so I am cutting it super close with 35 gallons total fuel.
