    88-90 is fine in some parts of Texas. Wish it was more prevalent in other parts of the country.

    I can vouch for that....85mph is no big deal in Texas and great exercise for my Tacoma...except I have to stay in the right lane as others pass at 90-95mph routinely.

    They exited chapter 11 in 2017. 75 and 80 mph speed limits are also used across Texas. 88-90 is not uncommon on major interstates. I don’t drive that fast, but people setting their cruise control to 80 is absolutely normal here.

    LOL best thread ever... Dude, if you can't drive your truck 1,000 miles without breaking it then you should get a different rig.

    If you aren't doing 80+ on I90 up here then you're getting passed by big rigs. Speed limit in Montana is 80 on some stretches, and that's where a lot of folks are just getting warmed up.

    I am in texas. I dont really drive that way so dont follow it too much. 80 is pretty normal though.

    In dallas its pretty crazy when youre going 80 bumper to bumper. Only thing that makes me feel alive now a days.
