Speed limit display

I have a '22 Limited Nightshade Edition and mine works as intended here in Hampton Roads, Va.

 

Just found I can drive past a couple recently added 15 MPH signs and the speed limit display doesn't budge from 25 MPH. This seems to imply the speed limit info is derived from map data and may not be from the TSS camera, which is contradictory to the current Toyota website description.

 

You have to have built in NAV to get the signs in the center console.

RSA is completely different.

 

To all who has been following and commenting this thread from the beginning:
- For those saying the RSA was needed, you are correct. Toyota finally responded saying that my 23, TT SR5 is not equipped with the Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 which includes the Road Sign Assist (RSA). Mine is equipped with the Toyota Safety Sense P which does not include the Road Sign Assist. Silly of me to think that a brand new TT did not come with the latest software.
- For those saying I need to rely on comparing my speedometer to the speed signs, you too are correct. The fact is, I have a feature that was not working, and after dropping over $40k on this truck, I wanted to know why.

 

Valid point. My slightly less priced 2022 rav4 came with rsa. I think the issue is with the camera fitting to the windshield. It may obstruct the vision and needs a different windshield angle.

 

I drive through Goldsboro quite a bit and never had any issue with mine. I have a '21 Limited.

 

I was one of the ones cracking jokes about this.
