Folks, why does the truck limit the speed to 110? How do you get past the limiter. I had a tangle with an IS-300 on the freeway and he WAS quite surprised but then i was when he 'sailed' past me and 110 was it....granted i know i was 'quite bad' some times it just comes out....

You want to go faster than 110mph in a relatively top-heavy 4x4? Um, no thanks... not my bag.

Safety...and I would assume it's a precaution to keep people from blowing their engines.

Illegal discussions are not allowed on TW. Since that is your intent and purpose... I will neglect to tell you how to disable it :/

Also, it's a really stupid idea on a 4x4. I say this and I've had sports cars way way above that before. (track of course)

After the shakes my truck got after 90 the day I got it, I will never break 80 again.

Im shocked that the limiter is that high to be honest with you.

My mom's 08' GMC Yukon is limited at 100.

The resale on Tacoma's is pretty good. If you really want to go that fast trade your truck in for a sports car. And its going to come out that your a great driver and have years more experience than I do driving but you can still kill someone just as quickly in your truck as anyone else.
