    I don't understand.

Your odometer isn't working or your speedometer?

IF your wheel speed sensors were bad, your traction control would malfunction and throw a code.
Why did you replace those - what diagnostics did you do?

    Does your ABS work?

    Have you cleared the codes?
Do they return after clearing them?

    What diagnostics did you do?

Throwing parts at a problem is not how I usually solve these kinds of things.

So you replaced wheel speed sensor 1?

Anyway - clear the codes, see if the code reappears; it is not going away till you clear them.
For future reference, you should have done this first before replacing anything; sometimes errors are just errors and not actual failures or a loose connection of the sensor [jiggle sensor, reset codes, see if code returns].

IF it does, then what is the actual [numeric] code it is throwing?

What are the symptoms - aka does your ABS actually work?
If the wheel speed sensor was bad, your traction control should be erroring as well . . . . .

But did you clear the codes after you replaced the part?

The codes will not just clear up after putting a new part in.
You have to clear them and then see if they return to see if you actually fixed shit.

Yeah, me and Dm93 went through this with another member.
    It was a PROCESS…..
Thankfully Dm93 went back through and made a DIY diagnostic.
It’s a pain it the ass to diag that over an Internet forum.

If you need help or any clarification, just ask.
I’ll be here all night.

My New Year’s partying days are done.
Been there, done that. I’d rather sit at home now.
But I might run down to the lake and cast a line. Just to say the first thing I did in 2024 was “Go fishing”.

I was trying to sort out what issue he was having at first..

Let me say, I love the DIY diagnostic intel available on TW.
I am grateful to Dm93 and everyone else who has outlined their issue and how they sorted it out.
When I was shopping for my Taco years back, the amount of info available here made it very clear there would be tons of 'support' going forward.
I remember the days when trying to fix my car was a mix of an actual book repair manual and just figuring it out on your own. I spent 3 days after work replacing a steering knuckle on an E36. Many years after the fact, I realized I could have telescoped the steering wheel out and not spent 3 days on that job!! I still have the old part because - nostalgia!

Ok I'm not sure what all that means but it sounds like it might be in the cluster
