So i got the dual cases in the truck. Using gear drive cases. I ordered the VSS adapter from TG. It converts the mechanical signal to electronic. On the first drive the speedo worked for about a mile. I pulled it all back off to ensure that it was all splined in. Drove it again, worked for about 1/2 mile. I had to use the extended speedo cable adapter because I cannot fit the adapter on the speedo drive because of the FROR crossmember. The only thing I can think of is that I have a bad VSS adapter. Ive looked around and cannot find any issues with them.

Same here... my Inch Worm VSS has never given me problems.
Be sure to use heat shrink on the connections if you need to cut/ add wire.

    Good luck.
