    ive used this before...first time at this house...my dads house was getting in the 20K range on DL and over 5K in the UL

    its not even like we have 5 computers eating the bandwidth either...this is the ONLY thing going on online here right now...

    I work for a telecommunications company and the largest RESIDENTIAL package we offer is 5MB / 3MB

    Now our CEO has fiber wide open on our network...100MB down /100 MB up........it's disgustingly fast :D

    Yeah. Cable, unlike DSL, shares the bandwidth in the pipe. If she was on, your test could have been a little better.

    thats kick ass for cable. Those are fiber speeds. Ive heard COX is great.

    Im paying about $33.00 a month...or something like that. When they installed the cable to my house, they ran a dedicated line instead of a cable running from the cable junction...I wonder if that helps my speed? :confused:
