Having some steering wobble at around 70 km/h (50mph). Driving straight and hands on the wheel, the steering wheel is shaking back and forth quite a bit. I am running 32" ATs on stock steering arms and such. Maybe the steering arm needs to be upgraded or replaced? Any help is great.

    Thanks.

Start with the easy/cheap things first.

    Are your wheels balanced?

I just had mine balanced and the 70 mph wobble went away.

Typically a wobble back and forth tends to be an alignment issue or bad tire wear.

If re-balancing tires don't help, then it could be any number of things, all of which could be check by parking on level ground, steering back and force, and observing the suspension/steering parts under the truck for play:

    - Worn tie rod ends
    - Worn lower ball joint
    - Worn steering rack bushings
    - Loose steering column intermediate shaft

Most of these are possible to do yourself: http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/1st-gen-tacomas/95271-1st-gen-diy-how-thread-compiled-list-helpful-links.html#post1820599
