Some States in the NE have a problem with some kind of wood boring beetle. To control it, they regulate the interstate transportation of un processed wood products.

thats michigan. other than being overloaded if you put too much wood in the truck, there is no NH or VT law that i am aware of that dictates where you can and cant transport fire wood. if there is a law like that, its enforced just about as much as adultery is....

Get one of these. At $219 a pop, they pay for themselves quickly. Trust me. Plus depending on where you live, it's really nice to know where all speed cameras and red light cameras are. And Escorts customer service is second to none. *I am not affiliated with them in any way other than being a very satisfied user.*

    It's called an "off" button.

The best detector in the world won't protect against instant-on radar unless the cop is tagging the car in front of you.

One would think that button would be pushed all the time so the radar detectors wouldn't work at all

There was probably a radar request from some one in town about speeders the radar was checked and he'll have a statement saying that is was and how you'll either be fined or the charge will be reduced is it worth the trip? If you were local with no record maybe PBV but from away likely as not you won't skate.

You are in MA, likely Vt town is a small one. they want revenue, and likely local judge won't downgrade the ticket, etc., even if you have a better argument than I was speeding but not that fast.

Unless MA and VT have reciprocity, the fine you pay in VT should not affect your MA driving record nor insurance, and only add a couple points to your VT driving privileges. Get caught a couple more times in VT and they may suspend those priviliges, and really its not like they are checking at the border anyway.

    Pay it and be done.

I've encountered a few LEOs with these but it seems the majority don't have or don't use them at least. The pace of traffic on the east coast is fast, I like to keep up and also I like to know when I'm being targeted. Plus I like my gadgets!
