    gents,

I installed the hyper tech behind my speedo today, i thought everything was fine but i just went to the store and turned off my truck and the speedo lights and rpm needle was pulsing on and off, dim but still pulsing. I tried to disconnect the battery for about 10 mins but it is still doing it while the ignition is off. anyone have this issue or think of a way to trouble shoot it. Im going to reinstall the hyper tech with the neg batt terminal disconnected and see.

    Please help if you can.

    Thank you

Not sure about the pulsing, but it sounds like you have some ground where it shouldn't be.

I would remove the " Hyper tech " place everything back to its original condition and see if it goes away. I'll bet that it does.

What is this Hyper tech? A speedometer calibrator?

so after i took apart the dash again i started playing with the plugs on the hyper tech...... I found that everything works normal when I don't plug the c3 plug in to the VSS module(programable box) thats when the flickering/pulsing of the instrument panel lights/rpm needle happens. as of yesterday when i programed my hyper tech, there was only the option of a 2013 tacoma. I have a '14. The box that the hyper tech came in says its a hyper tech is for a "2014 tundra", I called auto anything about it(where I bought it from) and they said this model fits "lots" of applications, I would have done a lot of testing already but I am a apple user and have to go to my buddies to program the hyper tech with a PC. I think my next course of action is to try and program it for a '14 tundra and just enter my tire sizes. if you have any input feel free to chime in, otherwise ill let you all know what i come up with.
