So I took my 2010 Access for it's first little road trip. Truck is totally stock--4x4 V6. I was checking the speedo speed with my Garmin and what I discovered is this. Speedo indicates 65 MPH, Garmin says 61. Speedo indicates 70 MPH, Garmin says 67. Speedo indicates 75 MPH, Garmin says 71. Is this usual? I guess it might be Toyota's way of keeping me below the actual speed limit??

Yes- The speedo gauge used an analog to digital converter to display your speed. The gauge is not perfectly accurate.

Most folks have found that the Odo clocks very correctly and I think I remember reading that someone used a scangauge and that speed read correctly too....

BTW- If that's your Busa- It probably had the same problem unless you calibrated it.

Just got some 32" 275/65/18s & now my speedo matches my TomTom perfectly at every constant speed. Just had to lift & get bigger tires to calibrate it I guess.

Mine actual speed was low by 3 mph. After I upgraded to 265/70R17's it put me right on the button.
