My 17 Tacoma SR with 23000 miles just started today with the speedometer needle jumping around at the 70MPH mark. I was on the highway on a short trip and I watched it jump and jerk back and forth 10 or 12 times during the 150 mile drive. My speed was consistent with no cruise and the needle would swing about 4 or 5 miles an hour every so often for no reason. Anybody else have a similar gremlin? It just seemed odd. Curious if speedometer is still gear driven or electronic.

Not seen this but curious if the digital speedo was doing the same dance. If so I’d suspect the sensors, else the gauge.
