    BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE!
When I moved to Ohio last year when it got below freezing the speedometer needle started making a scratching noise and was jumpy.
I had a few bulbs out so I replaced with LEDs which look great, also lubed the gear in cluster with just something I had laying around already. HHS-K made by Wurth.
It worked good for a couple of months but started to get jumpy again, being this isn't something I want to do every couple of months I am wondering what types of grease you have used or would recommend to resolve this issue?

Obviously I have to remove a lot of panels to get the cluster out, and then completely disassemble the cluster so I'd like to do this one time and be done.
    Thanks!

I has this issue for a while. Its the cable making the noise. As far as I'm concerned the best fix is to replace the speedo cable. This is what I did. Pretty big pain but its quiet now. 2nd most annoying job after headers. I don't think you can grease the cable because its sealed.
