    Some relevant background:
I’ve had this Taco for about 5 years.

The ABS and emergency brake light have been on for roughly the last year or two, I’ve replaced the front pads, rotors and flushed the fluid.

I replaced the negative/ground connection due to the ground cable fraying and having a shoestring connection. (i allowed it to get so bad that my ignition did not engage at all, nor did my dashboard show any signs of power, and my truck would die when I’d come to stoplight)/all in the course of a day/

I replaced the ground cable a month ago and had no issues since.

*Speedometer is only gauge not working at the moment. Check engine, ABS and emergency brake lights are on as well. So I assume it’s not a dashboard issue
I have a diagnostic appointment with dealership in 6 days.

You have to have at least one functioning rear ABS Speed Sensor for the speedometer to work because vehicle speed comes from the ABS Module and it uses the rear sensors for vehicle speed.
Having codes for all 4 speed sensors it's no surprise the speedometer doesn't work and you have a P0500.
Hopefully the bad ground hasn't killed the ABS module and it's just a wiring problem or problem with the speed sensors.
