I drive and 08 TRD. Couple weeks ago I got my truck stuck in some pretty deep water, sat there for awhile til we pulled it out and after we got it out the speedometer wasn’t working. I’m getting a P0500 code and check engine light is on. I changed both Input/output VSS on the transmission and the speedometer still doesn’t work, but everything else on the cluster is working fine. The Abs light is on, but was on long before the speedometer stopped working. Any thoughts on what else could be wrong and if it sitting in such deep water could have harmed any electrical components that would effect the speedo?

The speedometer get's its pulses from the right rear wheel speed sensor. Check for damaged wires back there, especially if someone hooked onto the rear axle to pull you out.

Good luck O.P. going through deep water is never good for newer trucks with all the electrical parts.
