I sold my Blue 2016 Tacoma Sport after 5.5 years, I bought a Pyrite Mica 2012 SR5, then I bought a Speedway Blue 2008 OffRoad with only 83k miles. Then sold the 2012 SR5 to my son. The 2008 is losing clearcoat on the hood and center section of the roof. It runs and drives excellent.

    Nice choice.

The right side of my hood is losing the clear oat also.

I plan on getting quotes to paint those 2 sections. I am also considering stripping, sanding, priming and then getting both wrapped. My 2012 still had perfect paint. It just seems that this was a hit-or-miss problem with 2nd gens. I did not let it stop me from buying the truck. It just runs and drives too good.

Finally washed it, after just driving it since I bought it 3 weeks ago, using the Turtle Wax ceramic wash and wax. This is by far the best stuff I ever used. Been using it for the last 6 months on all my vehicles. No buffing, no polishing, no towel drying. Just blew it off with a leaf blower.

Hell yeah! How was the install? Any additional modifications need to be done? Best looking and functional rear bumpers for non- high clearance imo. Been eyeballing it for their black Friday deal, if they have it.

Install waa piece of cake. 0 modifications whatsoever to fit the bumper full bolt on.
All that was needed to be done was cut one of the license plate plugs off and wire in their led light which they provided.
Other than that it’s a direct bolt on. I love it and it was well worth the 15 week wait for it to be manufactured! if you’re looking for one i highly recommend it. Their customer service is great. Good company to do business with.

I hope they have a nice sale during black Friday. Good to know about the license plate light. I did notice that single led light when looking at pictures on their site. Don't think I'm gonna get those rigid lights put on..I may just leave it open. Did you powder coat?

I got mine for $979 before they raised the cost of the bumper. There was also a 10% off code. That alone was $97 off which was so nice! With shipping ($199) it was $1,080. Great price!
Yes powder coated of course. Yeah the lights are something i really don’t need. But seeing as the cutouts are there it was something i wanted to add opposed to leave it empty.

yeah i’m sure the price change is because of the increase cost of steel.
Thanks i love it! Have a set of sliders on the way now. Can’t wait to get em installed !

    Awesome truck!

I'm looking at getting those rims on my 09 SR5 SWB. How much lift did you do?

Also, I love the blue TRD on the center cap, where did you get those?
