Those hood lights are great, I have some spare led strips. Might have to do something similar

 

Also I drove around with the sunroof open today. That quickly reminded me I don't really like sunroofs during the day. The glare on my glasses is pretty bad.

 

Im slowly balding... so sunroofs suck

Never had a sunroof before. I upgraded the stereo and now I can drive on the highway and still hear it. I love the sunroof.

you have a pioneer nex radio? 4200?

 

Those are smart. I only have one cig lighter but I guess I only charge my phone and sometime tablet. What I really need is a cup holder haha. Also what did you do for from and rear speakers. The mounting depth in these things is stupid shallow and the rears don't even have a real bracket to mount on.

 

I am too, it's no secret. Lucky not so bald that my head gets a sunburn yet, but soon I'm sure.

 

I've got a Pioneer NEX 4201 in both my LC's. One has an Alpine Amp, and one has a Kenwood. Both amps are under the driver's seat. I have Kenwood speakers in the front of the 94, and Infinity's in the 97. Both have Kicker subs mounter behind the back panel on a Wholehog mount. Actually, the sub mount has a custom enclosure made on it and I don't use the bracket to hold an amp as designed. Cig lighter is the USB for the stereo. I had it all professionally installed. Rear door speakers are stock on both for now. Not blown. Fill only.

Nice! I might have just found the radio I want, Sonic Electronix has a sale going on that made me reconsider a model that was out of my budget. Still working on figuring out rear speakers, looks like fronts will be easy and I'm nixing the factory "amp" and the factory "sub and sub amp" too.

 

It's amazing to see the evolution of the number of cupholders.
The 96 Taco has two. Pull out thingy right below the front dash vents. Functional, spartan, self cleaning.
The 06 Tundra has eight. Full of dog hair at the moment.
I only really need one.

 

Rear sub is probably blown. Both of mine were.

 

Seriously! My 95 Taco has four cup holders and this Flagship SUV can only muster a single awkwardly placed square shelf that sort of passes as a cupholder. Seen in this stock photo...


But the center shift console is huge and could have a couple cup holders, wonder why it doesn't.

 

Yeah I think you're right, certainly can't hear it at all. The 3rd row roof speakers still sound good but are practically useless in their positioning. The rear door speakers work but can't even be turned up with the stock radio, they distort too easily. The dash tweeters are positioned pretty uselessly so I'll probably lose them too and not bother replacing them, they rattle pretty bad right now.
